About Taping Head
A Taping Head is a composite manufacturing equipment used particularly in the process of automated fiber placement (AFP) or automated tape laying (ATL). This is one of the most important things that ensure accurate and consistent placement of the composite material, hence ensuring the proper strength and quality of the final product. These are designed to lay down strips of composite material, usually in the form of pre-impregnated (prepreg) tape, onto a mold or tool.
